NUMS Character Building Society (CBS) Organized Seerah Seminar 2026

Seerah Seminar 2026 was successfully organized by the NUMS Character Building Society (CBS) in collaboration with the Department of Student Affairs (DSA), NUMS. The event was conducted under the supervision of the Convener, Mr. Waheed Rashid, and with the dedicated efforts of the CBS cabinet members: Javeria Naseer, Atika Tariq, Jaisha Musharaf, Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Laiba Waheed, Noorulain, Nayab Nazir, Bushra Javed, Aleezy Mughal, Areej Fatima, and Hoorian Maryam. The Seminar aimed to promote the teachings, values, and inspiring life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) while providing students with an opportunity to showcase their talents and knowledge.


The event featured four major competitions: Calligraphy, Seerah-Based Quiz, Naat, and Qirat. Students of KHINAMS, AFPGMI AND AFIRM enthusiastically participated in all categories, demonstrating remarkable creativity, knowledge, and recitation skills. A panel of four judges was present to evaluate the performances and ensure fair assessment throughout the competitions. The occasion was further honored by the presence of Brig. Ambreen Sohail (Retd.), COO KHINAMS, Principal of Allied Health Sciences (AHS), whose participation added prestige and encouragement to the event.


A significant highlight of Seerah Seminar 2026 was the inspiring speaker session conducted in collaboration with Youth Club. The session was delivered by Sir Abu Saad, a distinguished young speaker, who engaged the audience with thought-provoking insights on character building, personal growth, and the practical application of Seerah teachings in everyday life. His interactive and motivational talk left a lasting impression on the participants and encouraged them to embody the values exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).


The event concluded with an award ceremony in which certificates and prizes were presented to the position holders of all competitions in recognition of their achievements. A special souvenir was also presented to Sir Abu Saad as a token of appreciation for his valuable contribution to the event.
