10th International Conference 2026 Shalamar Medical and Dental College Lahore: A Decade of Change

The 10th International Conference 2026, hosted by Shalamar Medical and Dental College, concluded successfully after a week of multidisciplinary academic engagement. The conference brought together national and international experts across medical education, clinical sciences, nursing, allied health, bioethics, and emerging domains such as simulation and artificial intelligence. Prof. Dr. Ayesha Rauf, Head of Department of Health Professions Education was invited as a guest speaker and panellist, representing NUMS.

She was part of several sessions that resonated strongly with scholarly interests—particularly those exploring equity, privilege, and the evolving role of AI in medical education.

MHPE Summit  was a flagship event that brought together educators, scholars, and innovators to discuss the future of health professions education. She ensured that the educational narrative remained evidence‑informed, learner‑centered, and consistent with national HPE priorities.
