LitCon ‘21

Army Medical College Debates and Literary Society (ADLS) is a functional society of Army Medical College and under the leadership of Director Brig. Khadija Qamar and OIC Lt Col. Palvasha Waheed, has attained many feats and earned a name in the debates and literary circles of Pakistan.

Keeping in view the covid-19 situation in the country, there is need for virtual and online events to be conducted that tap into the immense potential that resides in the college and addresses a lack of inter-collegiate competitions hosted by the college or among Military institutions and so the idea of Army Medical College Literary Contest was brought to life. LitCon’21 was announced under the leadership of Principal Army Medical College Maj Gen. Syed Nusrat Raza HI(M). It was the first time Army Medical College was conducting a literary contest of such magnitude.

Wah Medical College was announced to be the winning institution of the competition with Army Medical College as runner up. In conclusion, LitCon’21 was a huge success and a pioneering step for Army Medical College. The participants also showed much enthusiasm and produced works full of creativity and passion. The directorate worked tirelessly to provide a memorable experience to the participating institutes and keep the flag of Army Medical College and National University of Medical Sciences flying high. It is hoped that LitCon’21 will prove to be a landmark in polishing the literary acumen of the students of various notable institutes of Pakistan.
