PhD Molecular Medicine

Introduction:

NUMS PhD Molecular Medicine provides a platform to clinician for comprehensive understanding of the current advances and applications of Molecular Biology that can be applied in different medical investigations. It aims to develop human resources in the field of Molecular Biology by coaching the PhD scholar in a way to generate new scientific knowledge, related to molecular mechanisms involved in progression of disease, and advance research in molecular intervention to offer best possible solution to the industry, academia and services to the humanity

Eligibility Criteria:
  • MBBS/BDS/BS/MS/MPhil or equivalent degrees in relevant disciplines with First Division in the Annual System/ CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the Semester System.
  • Valid registration with regulatory body.
  • University entry test with minimum 70% qualifying score.
  • Each applicant will submit an Academic Statement of Purpose (ASOP)*.
  • NUMS interview.

              * Academic Statement of Purpose.

  •   Word limit.

Approximately 800 to 1000 words (12-point font)

  • It should have four sections, though they don’t need to be clearly defined as sections in the document:
    • Academic & Professional Preparation
    • Focused Interest in the Field
    • Career plans upon completion of the program
    • Any relevant strengths or weaknesses in background or ability to carry out professional responsibilities.
