MPhil Community Medicine

Introduction:

MPhil program in Community medicine helps medical graduate to equip him/herself with an adequate level of knowledge and skills of public health practices that enables him/her to combat the important community health issues which he/she will likely to confront during his/her professional career.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • MBBS/BDS or equivalent duly recognized by the concerned regulatory authority.
  • Valid registration with PMC (where applicable).
  • GAT (General) with a minimum 50% of cumulative score.
  • GAT will be valid for a period of two years.
  • NUMS interview.

MBBS

MBBS can apply in Basic Medical Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Chemical Pathology, Microbiology, Hematology, Molecular Medicine).

BDS

BDS can apply in Basic Medical Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Science of Dental Materials, Oral Pathology and Molecular Medicine only).

Non MBBS/ Non-BDS

Non-MBBS/ Non-BDS with sixteen years of education can apply for Molecular Medicine only.
