This MPhil program at NUMS improves scientific knowledge for practices in the field of Microbiology through research, innovation and creative approaches. Experienced faculty trains students to undertake basic biomedical research in the areas of, immunology, virology, Parasitology, Mycobacteria, Gram positive bacteria and many other disciplines related to microbiology

• MBBS/BDS or equivalent duly recognized by the concerned regulatory authority.
• Valid registration with PMC (where applicable).
• GAT (General) with a minimum 50% of cumulative score.
• GAT will be valid for a period of two years.
• NUMS interview.

MBBS

MBBS can apply in Basic Medical Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Chemical Pathology, Microbiology, Hematology, Molecular Medicine).

BDS

BDS can apply in Basic Medical Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Science of Dental Materials, Oral Pathology and Molecular Medicine only).

Non MBBS/ Non-BDS

Non-MBBS/ Non-BDS with sixteen years of education can apply for Molecular Medicine only.
