This program is designed in accordance with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan's framework for the MS Bioinformatics program. The degree program is intended to provide our postgraduate students with the opportunity to gain advanced bioinformatics knowledge required for a researcher to interpret and decipher the information embedded in complex biological processes. We hope that our program will provide a research-based educational platform for researchers, where students will be provided with cutting-edge facilities and opportunities to meet national and international research standards, as well as to implement novel approaches to solving unsolved puzzles in life sciences.

The Bioinformatics program at NUMS is a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in an interdisciplinary field that integrates biology, computer science, and information technology.
