PhD program in Science of Dental Materials is an integrated program merging the fields of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, Material Science, Microbiology, Tissue Engineering, Biocompatibility and Material Characterization. The instructional and training components are carried out by the PhD qualified faculty of “Science of Dental Materials” in Basic Dental Sciences, Army Medical College (AM College) under National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS). The doctoral program curriculum is designed to give an in-depth knowledge of Science of Dental Materials and research facilities in the laboratory. The award of the PhD will require evidence of satisfactory completion of advanced course work in Dental Materials and research as per HEC policy.
The University will endeavor to improve existing knowledge, and practices in the fields of dentistry through innovative and creative approaches in order to offer the best possible services to the society and humanity at large.

Testing Requirement. NUMS entry test with minimum 60% qualifying score

Each applicant must submit an Academic Statement of Purpose (ASOP). The Academic Statement of Purpose helps the admission committee understand student’s academic objectives and determine whether he/she has the potential to be successful in this program.
