DMI offers BS in Microbiology and MS in Microbiology and Immunology programs, which provide students with strong theoretical foundation and hands-on laboratory and research experience in bacteriology, virology, immunology, microbial ecology, vaccinology, antimicrobial resistance, and other diverse fields of microbiology.
In today's world, research in microbiology and the human immune system is critical to tackle various global health challenges. Here, at NUMS, we do not just provide education in the field; instead we develop future leaders and pioneers to tackle those global health issues. Our experienced, highly qualified faculty from a wide array of scientific backgrounds encourage students to engage in multidisciplinary research which is supplemented by state-of the art laboratory facilities, industry internships, placements in onboard research projects, and other national and international opportunities.
