•  2nd Convocation NUMS-2026 has been postponed in light of the austerity measures issued by the Government of Pakistan. Whenever these measures are relaxed or withdrawn, a new date for the convocation will be announced.
• The registration portal will be reopened for a minimum period of 3-weeks. During this period, students who were previously unable to register will be given the opportunity to do so.
• Additionally, students who are unable to attend the convocation on the newly announced date will be eligible for a refund, which will be processed accordingly.

All graduates of PhD/ MS/MPhil/MSc/Dip-card & BS programs who have completed degree requirements in Spring 2024 and Fall 2024.

1. Convocation robes can be collected on the day of rehearsal from the stablished desk at the venue on payment of Rs. 2000/- (450/ Non Refundable & 1550/-Refundable).
2. The amount of Convocation Gowns will be directly collected / deposited at time of Gown collection at the established desk at the venue.
3. Convocation Gowns will be returned immediately after the Convocation Ceremony at the established desk in the venue.
4. In case of a damaged/ stained Gown or failed to return the gown, the security amount deposited will be seized.

• Formal Dress code should be followed by the graduates on both days.
• The Dress code for male graduates is LOUNGE SUIT with formal Shoes (No slippers / Joggers). Graduates opting to wear SHALWAR KAMEEZ must put on Waist Coat.
• Female graduates shall wear modest clothes with formal shoes / strapped sandals (No slippers/ Joggers).
• T-Shirts, Sleeve-less dress, Jeans or Tights are strictly not allowed.

• Rehearsal will be held in the 3rd Week of April 2026 in Ayub Auditorium, Army Medical College, Rawalpindi at 1000 hrs.
• Only those who have attended the rehearsal for the convocation would be allowed to attend the convocation ceremony. Attendance is mandatory for every graduate on rehearsal day.

• The graduates must note that they will not be allowed to attend the Convocation if:
• Do not register for the Convocation.
• Do not take part in Rehearsal.
• Do not wear the Convocation Robes.
• Do not reach the Convocation Venue in Time.
• Not in possession of the Convocation Invitation Card and CNIC.
• Do not bring Mobile Phones / Gadgets / Bags / Eatables /Cigarettes and Lighters etc on both Rehearsal and Convocation days. If carrying, same shall be deposited at the designated point at the venue.
• Entry will be restricted to card holders only. Extra guests, children and drivers are not allowed.
• Walk-through gates will be installed, thorough body check will be carried out and lady guards will be deployed at entry points.
• Original CNIC are required for entry at the venue on Rehearsal day. CNIC (graduate and guests) & Invitation cards are required for entry at the venue on Convocation day.
• The graduates are required to maintain the sanctity of the ceremony.
