MDCAT for NUMS – 2022 (For admissions in MBBS/BDS Session 2022-23)

MDCAT for NUMS was held on Sunday, 16th October 2022. Subject test is mandatory for admission in NUMS Constituent, Affiliated and all Military (Armed Forces) Administered Medical and Dental Colleges.

Basic Qualification/Eligibility:
  1. The candidates having valid citizenship of Pakistan /Overseas Pakistanis/Dual Nationals/Foreign Nationals can appear in NUMS Entry Test 2022.
  2. FSc/HSSC/A-Levels/ 12th Grade, awaiting result can also apply for NUMS Entry Test 2022.
  3. NUMS Entry Test held on 3rd October 2021 is not valid for admission in MBBS/BDS session 2022-23.
  4. Candidates with 60% marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) / Equivalent will be eligible to apply for admission in MBBS and BDS Program.
  5. Pass percentage of MDCAT for NUMS is as follows: -
    1. MBBS Admission       55%
    2. BDS Admission          45%

How to Apply: (Registration Closed)
  • Registration Form for NUMS Entry Test 2022 shall be filled online.
  • Please apply using a laptop or desktop only. Registration by using mobile phone is not supported.

Steps for NUMS Entry Test 2022 Registration:

  • Click on the First Time Registration
    • Local Students will select CNIC/Form B Option 
    • Overseas Pakistani or Dual Nationals will select NICOP Option
    • Foreigners will select Passport Option
  1. Enter your own (Student) CNIC/Form B/NICOP/Passport Number at the time of registration/login, because it cannot be changed later on.
  2. Enter your full name (as per SSC/O level / 10th Grade Certificate).
  3. Enter your active/functional email address.
  4. Enter Password (minimum 6 character)
  5. Confirm Password
  6. Enter captcha
  7. Click on Register
  • After registration, login NUMS Entry Test 2022 Registration Portal.
  • Online Registration application is divided into 4 Steps:
    • Step 1 Upload Photograph & CNIC/B Form/NICOP/Passport
      • Upload the Passport size latest photograph with blue background. (Unprofessional photographs/Selfie not allowed).
      • Upload Clear front side of CNIC/B Form/NICOP/Passport

  • Step 2 Profile Information & Test Centre

Note: The candidates MUST select two unique locations in order of preference for appearance in the NUMS Entry Test 2022. However, based upon seating capacity available, the University reserves the right to shift any candidate to another location.

  • Step 3 Download & Upload Fee challan
    • Download Fee Challan: Print challan, pay it to nearest HBL bank
    • Upload NUMS Copy of Paid Fee Challan
  • Step 4 Final Submit Application

Once you click on final submit button. Following statement will be displayed on your screen:

Your Application has been Submitted Successfully

Note: After submission you will not receive any email and SMS. The above mentioned statement is the confirmation of your application submission.

After submission, you can also edit your application information before the last date of registration by login with same CNIC/B Form/NICOP/Passport Number.

  • Application shall be submitted through online portal only. No hard copies are required.
  • The Mobile Number and Email provided on the Registration Form should be entered correctly and it should be functional for contact as and when required by the University.

Important Instructions:
  1. The candidates must reach their respective centres at-least three hours before the commencement of the test on Sunday 16th October 2022 The centres will be sealed/closed half an hour before the start of test on the test day.
  2. The NUMS Entry test 2022 will be conducted simultaneously at all local Exam Centres; at 10:00 AM PST.
  3. Time for NUMS Entry test 2022 at International Centres will be indicated on the admit card.
  4. Admit Card/ Roll No Slips will be generated in respect of all the eligible candidates. Candidates are required to download it from NUMS website www.numspak.edu.pk by entering his/her CNIC, Passport/NICOP/Form B number.
  5. The candidates must bring following items with them on the test day: -
    1. Printed admit cards (downloaded from website) along with Original Form "B" (with original Matriculation certificate bearing photograph of candidate) or Original CNIC or Original Passport/NICOP. No other identity will be acceptable. In case of loss of Form "B" or CNIC, please provide Original NADRA Slip as a proof that you have applied for the fresh Form "B" or CNIC.
    2. A clean clip board.
    3. Two blue/black ball points (NOT pointer, markers, pencils, gel pens, etc).
  6. The students must adhere to Govt Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for COVID-19 i.e. wearing proper masks and maintaining social distancing.
  7. Mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the examination hall otherwise strict disciplinary action shall be taken, which may lead to cancellation of paper and candidate will be debarred from NUMS Entry Test 2022
