Major General Muhammad Salman Ashraf, HI(M), SI(M), (Retd), has joined National University of Medical Sciences as Pro Vice Chancellor (Administration) on 13 July 2023.

The General Officer has rich experience of strategic / operational level administration, planning, command and governance spanning all domains of Health Care spectrum at key positions.

He has previously held pivotal appointments to comprehensively plan & execute educational / training policies at under graduate/ post graduate levels. 

He remained Commandant CMH Peshawar, Commandant Armed Forces Post Graduate Medical Institute, Rawalpindi and Deputy Surgeon General / Director General Medical Services (Inter Services) at GHQ, AGs Branch, Medical Directorate.
