This comprehensive course is designed to address the growing need for home healthcare services driven by an aging population, chronic diseases, and post-hospitalization care requirements. With a focus on providing exceptional care and support to the elderly and individuals with chronic illnesses or disabilities, the program emphasizes both the technical competencies and the compassionate approach needed for effective caregiving.
The Certificate in Care Assistant program spans six months and is offered twice a year, ensuring that students receive rigorous training in a range of vital areas, including personal care, emergency healthcare, nutrition, and communication. Students will engage in hands-on practice both in clinical settings and home environments, preparing them to assume meaningful roles in various healthcare contexts such as private home care, nursing homes, and community health centers.
