The 4-year degree programme meets the requirements of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC). The specifically designed programme aims at exposing the students to real life problems, including radical art in clinical dental practice. The students are provided with a solid foundation in basic principles of medicine, diagnostics and surgical techniques to meet the challenges of the future in the field of dentistry.
The four-year degree programme of BDS meets the requirements of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. It is a combination of hard-core subjects of dentistry with medical and basic sciences. Clinical training in the dental disciplines is imparted at the Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry (AFID) which is equipped with modern facilities in the field. The specifically designed programme aims at exposing the students to real life problems including radical art in clinical dental practice. The students are provided with a solid foundation of basic principles of medicine, diagnostics and surgical techniques to meet the challenges of the future in the field of dentistry.
Eligibility Criteria:

Passing MDCAT NUMS (Held on 01 September 2024) is mandatory. Pass percentage of MDCAT NUMS is 55% for admission in MBBS Program and 50% for BDS Program.

Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent having minimum twelve years of education in atleast three subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics.

For Admission on Foreign/Dual National/Overseas Quota Seats

Foreign national/ dual national/ overseas (being a Pakistani citizen permanently resident in a foreign country) Pakistani student, and who has studied and passed HSSC 12th grade examination or equivalent from outside Pakistan and is a resident of a foreign country at the time of applying for admission and possess a certificate from the institution last attended to this effect having completed last two years of schooling from abroad.

SAT-II Exam with minimum 550 marks each in biology, chemistry and either physics or mathematics or a foreign MCAT with minimum score of 500/528.

Equivalence by IBCC (in case of foreign qualification).

Minimum 70% marks, in HSSC or F.Sc (Pre-medical) or equivalent examination having minimum twelve years of education.

Minimum 70% Aggregate – MBBS.
