FAQs

A foreign student who appeared in SAT-II (valid for 2 years) with minimum 550 marks each in Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics can apply.

Foreign/Local prospectus can be obtained by visiting NUMS Admission Office or students can order through our online portal during admission process. 

There is no gender discrimination.

Admission form is available on NUMS website (www.numspak.edu.pk) during admission process.

All seats are on open merit. There is no self-finance category in NUMS.

All NUMS affiliated medical colleges have their own admission procedure/ schedule. Students need to apply separately in all desired colleges.

ARN is Admission Registration Number. 

Open Merit Local Candidates:

  • 4 x photographs (3 attested on back and 1 on front).
  • Attested copies of SSC & HSSC mark sheets or equivalent.
  • Attested copy of CNIC or Form B.
  • Attested copy of NUMS Entry Test result.
  • In case of O-Level and A-Level or any foreign degree, attested copy of
              equivalence certificates will also be required.

Open Merit Foreign Candidates:

  • 4 x attested photographs (3 from back and 1 from front).
  • Attested copies of O-Level & A-Level statement of result mark sheet/transcript/result or equivalent foreign degree.
  • In case of O-Level and A-Level or any foreign degree, attested copy of
    equivalence certificates will also be required.
  • Attested copy of Passport / NICOP / residence permit, whichever is applicable.
  • Attested copy of SAT II/MCAT Test result.

 

There is NO quota for any category on open merit.

Total available seats on open merit are announced at the time of admission.

Separate prospectuses are required to apply for open merit and foreign/dual national seats.

HEC merit and need based scholarships are available for NUMS Constituent Colleges.

Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English of F.Sc. level.

Students are eligible for NUMS’ entry test when they have passed F.Sc. part I and waiting for F.Sc. part II result or have completed F.Sc.

Attested hard copy of SAT-II result is required to be submitted at the time of application for admission. 

As per PM&DC regulations, entry test is mandatory for final selection.  

A student can submit a medical certificate signed and stamped by a medical practitioner having valid PM&DC registration.

When selected through open merit / foreign national category, it’s not mandatory to serve after completion of MBBS / BDS.

No there is no need of IELTS / TOEFL.

Yes, a student can apply separately with SAT-II, for Foreign/Overseas/Dual National Category and with NUMS entry test for Local Candidates category.

Paying cadets are wards/ children of Army personnel and are admitted against the seats reserved for them.
