We are proud to share the news of successful launch of CHPE - the first, six-month program from the platform of NUMS Department of Health Professions Education (NDHPE), on March 25, 2019.
A total of 136 participants and 20 faculty members have logged-in to the NUMS Distance Learning portal, for self-study & discussions in their Distance Learning study groups, for the ongoing Adult Learning-Theory and Application (ALTA) course.
The six, geographically diverse, Distance Learning Study Groups (DLSGs) are being facilitated, by 18 qualified faculty members from NUMS, its constituent, and affiliated institutes.
The first face-to-face session of Multan participants has successfully concluded five intense days of hands on activities, conducted by Program Directors Dr Ayesha Rauf and Dr Rukhsana Ayub. These were very well received by 24 participants from Multan and Bahawalpur. The first face to face of Rawalpindi group I is currently underway with 34 participants.
NUMS faculty will now be conducting the scheduled face-to-face sessions at Rawalpindi, Lahore and Quetta. The six-month program will conclude by September 2019 after which the next intake will be announced.
