National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) made an MOU with Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) on October 6, 2017 at NUMS Secretariat, Rawalpindi. The memorandum was signed by Vice Chancellor NUMS, Lt Gen Syed Muhammad Imran Majeed HI (M) and Vice Chancellor QAU, Prof Dr Javed Ashraf. The two universities desired to conduct joint research and development projects, develop academic cooperation in areas of mutual interest, collaborative seminars, workshops and training courses.
Vice Chancellor NUMS articulated that the linkage is a significant step taken by both the universities in promoting higher education in accordance with the best international standards and practices. Vice Chancellor QAU conveyed that academic collaboration can make an important contribution in developing and delivering higher education responsibly and effectively.
The representatives from QAU and the NUMS’ team comprised Pro Vice Chancellor, Provost QA & RD, Registrar, Dean Research and Academic Development, Chief Financial Officer, Head of Biogenetic Program, Director Human Resources, and Director Quality Assurance and Research Development.
